A Recall has been issued from Kidde and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC). The US CPSC website released an announcement Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 with the Recall of Kidde Fire Extinguishers.
"The fire extinguishers can
become clogged or require excessive force to discharge and can fail to activate during a fire emergency. In addition, the nozzle can detach with enough force to pose an impact
hazard." -- US CPSC Website
134 models of Kiddie fire extinguishers manufactured between January, 1973 and August of 2017.
